Does online Java compiler need JDK to be installed in our machine for Java code to run or is it like Saas?

JDK means java development kit which is an essential requirement for performing any coding in java. JDK stores all the classs and packages like .awt, .util., .io, .lang etc

All this are under JDK only

So you may not get all the quality of java under SAAS like graphics properties are not available .

Best recommended is not to use a online java compiler if you are advanced programmer because the online java compiler will not have as many as a feature as a offline Java IDE like BlueJ, Eclipse , JCpp Edit etc

In his type of offline compilers you can do all the assured programming that you need

But in the online java compiler like JDoodle ,Solo learn etc are good only for basic programming
